Mid Sussex District Councillor - High Weald
Lin moved to Scaynes Hill in 2003 and although has lived in places as diverse as Bristol and deepest Suffolk considers herself a Sussex girl. Lin’s family moved to Wadhurst when she was 11 and her education continued in Tunbridge Wells, having previously boarded in Berkshire. Her mother and brother still live in Sussex.
As a career Banker, Lin worked for Lloyds Bank in various roles and locations before returning to Sussex, being based at their Head office in Brighton. Lin specialised in Credit Risk Finance and Fraud until her retirement in March 2012. Lin is looking forward to meeting with and listening to as many residents as possible. She wants to safeguard the front line services provided within High Weald. She will be working to ensure we get real value for money without compromising the high quality expected. It isimportant that families, the elderly and the carers are properly represented within the District, particularly in terms of local services,such as Post Offices, village shops and local medical facilities. Lin will be a strong voice for High Weald.
