He recently planted the latest of these, two flowering cherry trees, in the Remembrance Garden in Walstead Cemetery, Lindfield. Two “Alder Buckthorne” trees, which attract yellow brimstone butterflies, are also to be planted on Scaynes Hill Common. Cllr Sheila Hobbs, Vice Chairman of Lindfield Rural Parish Council, welcomed Mr Soames and thanked him for his kind contribution. Two flowering Cherry Trees were planted at the Cemetery Mr Soames said “It is my absolute pleasure to plant these trees here in this delightful and peaceful setting”. |
